"We have no hesitation in highly recommending Petras Nesteckis to anyone who is thinking about renovating or extending their home. He is polite, professional, skilled and very creative.

We originally asked Petras to fix our carport which was in dire need of repair. The gutters were rusted through, the aluminium roof needed patching up and ceiling needed replacing because of water damage. In three days we had a carport that basically looked like new.

About a year later, we were thinking about extending our kitchen and building a deck for outdoor entertaining. We didn’t even think of trying to contact anyone else but Petras. His experience and creativity shone through right from the design stage. Not only does he have a great eye for detail, Petras is always ready to advise where to save on costs and where to spend more to improve the project. The finishes and details are exquisite. His demeanour is always happy and positive and will work until the job is done rather than watch the clock. “I have known Petras for about 6 months now. During this time I have engaged his services as a contractor to rebuild my minor dwelling after the tenant of 20+ years moved out. The flat was damp and mouldy due to various leaks. After 20 years there was pretty much nothing worth saving! The job required the following...​

1. Complete demolition of everything except the floor and exterior wall structures.

2. Management of timing of all sub-trades thru to PS1 status.

3. Redesign of a new more efficient space layout

4. Adherence to building code including ensuring all waterproofing practices are industry best practice.

5. Tasks performed include, framing, insulating, concreting, tiling, waterproofing, gibbing, finish trims, fitting windows/doors, fitting kit-set kitchen, exterior cladding, flashings, decking, pergola reinstatement and fencing to name a few.

I have found Petras to be a polite and conscientious tradesman who is remarkably well rounded in his experience and skill. He hates cutting corners so his ‘do things right the first time’ attitude has meant minimal time for me spent on the rebuild with maximum confidence. If I added tasks to the project, Petras and I would discuss to make sure he is clear and he just gets on with it. If he thinks something needs doing, he will point it out to me with good level headed reasoning and for the most part, I am persuaded. You’d be a moron not to hire this guy and I hated writing this letter because it just makes Petras harder for me to use him next time! Victim of his own success I would say.”​
